Adamasiko Community Seed bank is a legally registered entity established in 2017
with 248 registered members and serves various communities namely, Ojom, Olwelai
and surrounding communities.
The seed bank is located in Eastern Uganda, Soroti District, Katine Sub-country,
Ojom Parish, Adamasiko Village.
The crop species currently conserved at Soroti Community Seedbank are
common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris),
groundnuts (Arachis hypogaea),
finger millet (Panicum miliaceum).
maize (Zea mays),
and various leafy vegetables
The seed bank receives support from Oxfam International and PELUM (U).
