Acet community seed bank is a recently established community seed bank by the Pur Ber Youth Group of Acet parish, Omoro District in Northern Uganda. This group is responsible for reviewing the Luo translation of The Farmers' Handbook on How To Develop A Community Seed Bank(Book 1, 2 and 3) on behalf of the Luo speaking community in Uganda.

The crop species currently conserved at Acet Community seed bank are Common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), maize(zea mays), Soy bean and sesame

To date, the seed bank receives seed donations as well as support from NARO
